Transport Options

Below is an overview of MAXX public transport options for getting to and from the Viaduct Events Centre for New Zealand Fashion Week.

General Public Transport Options

The Events Centre is located on the Halsey Street wharf at the Auckland Viaduct Harbour on the edge of Auckland’s CBD. It is accessible from Halsey Street or via the Te Wero Bridge from the Eastern Viaduct, which is within a 10-15 minute walk from the Britomart Transport Centre.

BUS:

Regular timetabled services leave from the Britomart Transport Centre to destinations across Auckland. Final services are in general between 11pm and midnight. For specific service times please check by using the MAXX Journey Planner.

For events on Friday and Saturday nights NiteRider services operate from 1am to 3.40am (Sat and Sun mornings). Buses leave via Lower Albert St, Civic/St James, top of Queen St and K Rd, with services travelling via North, South, East, Central and West suburbs

TRAIN:

The main entrance of the Britomart Train Station (Britomart Transport Centre) is at the bottom of Queen Street near the Auckland Waterfront, which is within a 10-15 minute walk of the Viaduct Events Centre.

9.33pm to Waitakere

10.10pm to Papakura via Newmarket

10.40pm to Otahuhu via Glen Innes

Friday:

12.33am to Waitakere

12.10am to Papakura via Newmarket

11.40pm to Papakura via Glen Innes

Saturday:

11.53pm to Waitakere

12.10am to Papakura via Newmarket

12.08am to Otahuhu via Glen Innes

Sunday:

8.55pm to New Lynn only

FERRY:

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is a 10-15 minute walk from the Viaduct Events Centre. Final ferry services from Downtown are as follows;

Last Devonport ferry times:

Monday to Thursday 11:15pm

Friday and Saturday 1.00am

Sunday 10.00pm

Last Birkenhead ferry times:

Monday to Thursday 10.40pm

Friday 11.10pm

Saturday and Sunday 5.40pm

Last Bayswater ferry times:

WALKING:

The Viaduct Events Centre is within easy walking distance from the Auckland City Centre.

Interior Design

The New Zealand Fashion Week Venue is a beautifully appointed surrogate workplace and party venue for all of the attendees of the Week thanks to our wonderful Venue Designer Anya Vitali and her team of design affiliates.
