GET READY FOR THE WEDDING SEASON:
NEW ZEALAND WEDDINGS MAGAZINE
BRINGS BRIDALWEAR TO
2011 NEW ZEALAND FASHION WEEK
|
|
For the second consecutive year, New Zealand Weddings Magazine is proud to present the bridal show at New Zealand Fashion Week.
With more than 60 looks, including bridal gowns, menswear and flower girl attire, eight designers will display
their trend-setting styles in two shows: Wednesday the 31st of August for media and international buyers;
Saturday the 3rd of September for the public.
New Zealand Weddings editor Melissa Gardi says that there will be as many looks as as there are venues to marry in,
whether your nuptials take the form of church vows, beach or garden event, or rooftop party.
“This show will celebrate New Zealand bridal designers and Kiwi brides to be will be able to get up close and personal
to the newest trends. These days it’s not a question of what shade of white – brides will discover dresses in a plethora of
colour with various skirt lengths and headwear beyond the veil. And with the modern groom in mind, Crane Brothers
will showcase stylish suits amongst other key looks in menswear.”
Designer Elizabeth Soljak from A La Robe, one of the eight designers featuring their ranges in the show, is also excited.
“Finding a bridal gown is a highlight of wedding planning for many brides to be. This show gives local designers a
platform to show their individual, creative style while reaching out to all areas of New Zealand, and beyond.”
The New Zealand Weddings Magazine Bridal Collection includes top New Zealand bridal designers A La Robe,
Alma J, Anna Schimmel, John Zimmerman, Sera Lilly, Vinka Design, menswear designer Crane Brothers, and
flower girl attire from Modes – all of whose designs grace the pages of New Zealand Weddings Magazine. |
